Mark A. Belsey '60 recently prepared a background document on AIDS and the family for the UN General Assembly discussions on the 10th anniversary of the international Year of the Family which became the book, AIDS and the Family: Policy Options for a Crises in Family Capital, published by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA).
Henry Roth '60 received the Marriott Lifetime Achievement Award in Washington, D.C. on November 19, 2005, at the Arthritis Foundation's 2005 Arts for Arthritis Gala.
Howard E. Voss '61 is Medical Director of the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Florida.
Eugene Wallsh '61 retired in 2004 as Professor of Surgery and Chief and Professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgery at Texas Tec University in Lubbock, Texas. He lives in Tenafly, New Jersey.
Richard F. Edlich '62 was selected by the University of Minnesota Alumni Association as its 2005 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
John Kastor '62 recently had his latest book, Specialty Care in the Era of Managed Care: Cleveland Clinic vs. University Hospital of Cleveland published by The Johns Hopkins University Press.
Stephen G. Silberstein '62 has been a diplomate in psychiatry and a graduate in community psychiatry at the Masterson Institute. Currently he is retired and is a gentleman farmer in Vacaville, California.
Felicia B. Axelrod '66, Director and Carl Seaman Family Professor in Pediatrics of the Dysautonomia Treatment and Evaluation Center at New York University Medical Center, will be honored by the Dysautonomia Foundation by the creation of the Felicia B. Axelrod Professorship for Dysautonomia Treatment and Research at NYU Medical Center.
Maurice D. Levy '66 retired after 23 years with the department of Veterans Affairs. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
Alan L. Rubin '66 authored the books Diabetes for Dummies, Diabetes Cookbook for Dummies, Thyroid for Dummies and High Blood Pressure for Dummies. He lives in Tiburon, California.
Robert A. Morantz '67 is a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Missouri.
Thomas E. Strax '67 is the 2005 recipient of the Frank H. Krusen Award from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Alan F. Schatzberg '68 was the subject of an August 2005 article in the Psychiatric Times. This year, he won the Distinguished Service in Psychiatry Award presented by the American College of Psychiatrists.
