Research
Current research examines the effects of head and neck cancer treatment
on voice and swallowing.
Education
Cathy Lazarus, PhD, teaches the Swallowing Course for the graduate
students enrolled in the Master's Program in Speech-Language Pathology
at NYU downtown campus. In addition, she supervises graduate students
enrolled in clinical practica, providing training in evaluation
and treatment of patients with voice, speech and swallowing problems.
She also serves as adjunct faculty on doctoral students' dissertation
committees.
