Patients coming to the Center go through a comprehensive evaluation. Part of the assessment includes review of the patient's medical history, accompanying records, and a physical exam. This is done to establish the pain diagnosis, to assess the level of functional impairment, and to determine the nature and results of prior therapy. Prior to therapy, patients who have not yet had a diagnostic evaluation may need to have further tests done to establish the pain diagnosis.
Our mission is:
To relieve pain and restore the patients' quality of life through state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary treatments that address the specific needs of each pain sufferer.
To serve as a center of excellence for education and research on the management and cure of pain.
To provide supportive care, counseling and education to patients and their families.
