Drs. Geoffrey Gurtner and Barry Zide along with Dr. Fran Blei are Co-Directors of the Head and Neck Vascular Anomalies team conference. The multidisciplinary team consists of plastic surgeons, pediatricians, neuroradiologists, otolaryngologists, dermatologists, psychologists, orthodontists and prosthodontists who evaluate vascular lesions of the head and neck. Vascular lesions are a type of birthmark or congenital growth, such as a hemangioma, which is composed of abnormal blood vessels.
