One of the things we do really well in the NYU Division of Gastroenterology is to provide quality care to underserved people and to ensure that the level of care is the same across our three-hospital campus.

Over the past several years, we have focused on enhancing our research efforts through recruitment of basic and translational scientists and the launching of a clinical trials program. Part of my vision for the near future is that more patients will come to Tisch Hospital specifically for specialty GI care, and that the fellowship program, which now is recognized as a very good one, will be considered among the best in the country.
