Research Overview

The research focus of the NYU Division of Medical Oncology is on the development and testing of new cytotoxic agents, both biologic and synthetic, and on multimodality treatment.

More recently, the division has become actively involved in the pursuit of cancer prevention strategies, including the study of biomarkers of early cancer development and their use as diagnostic and prognostic tools.
