This year marks the Department of Medicine's sixth annual Research Day event. The Department established Research Day in the spirit of encouraging young investigators not only to develop their work, but also to present it to the scientific community.
Medical students, residents, junior faculty, and fellows presented their research as posters and/or oral presentations. This was a day to celebrate new advances and to revisit the longstanding traditions of the Department of Medicine, a department built on the principles of care and on diversity of thought, and dedicated to the process of discovery.
