Welcome to the Division of Neurogenetics

The Neurogenetics Program of the NYU School of Medicine runs a full service clinical facility, with a focus on inherited disease of the nervous system. There is particular interest in the leukodystrophies and lysosomal storage diseases, especially Tay-Sachs disease, Canavan disease, Gaucher disease, metachromatic leukodystrophy, and Krabbe disease. Services include diagnosis and management, biochemical and molecular testing and genetic counseling.
