- 35 bed pediatric unit
- Our patient population consists of children newborn to 18 years of age under services including but not limited to:
- Oncology/hematology
- Surgical (cardiovascular, neurosurgical, plastics, gastrointestinal, urogenital, ENT)
- Infectious Disease
- Epilepsy
- Genetic Disorders
- General Pediatrics
- Registered Nurses work with an interdisciplinary team consisting of:
- Nurse Practitioners
- Doctors
- Surgical Staff
- Recreational Therapists
- Music and Art Therapists
- Physical and Occupational Therapists
- Social Workers
- Nutritionists
- Nursing Attendants
- Nursing Management
- 9 East emphasizes career development through participation in the clinical ladder program. Nursing leadership supports the academic and professional development of staff as desired through both advanced degree and certification programs.
