- 16 bed comprehensive epilepsy unit
- 12 Video EEG monitored beds
- 4 Advanced Monitoring Unit beds
- Primary patient population consists of adolescents and adults pre and post-surgical, including but not limited to:
- Deep Brain Grid & Strip Electrode Placement
- Vagal Nerve Stimulator Placements
- WADA Testing
- Neuropsychological Testing
- Ictal & Inter-Ictal SPECT Studies
- Care is focused on the management of patients with epilepsy ranging from medication therapy adjustment, seizure characterization, pre-surgical evaluation and surgical interventions
- Evidence based practice patient care
- Neurology/Neurosurgery experienced preferred
- As a HCC-12 staff member, you will become part of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with:
- Epileptologists
- Physician Assistants
- Nurse Practitioners
- Nursing Management
- Social Workers
- EEG Technicians
- Nutritionists
- Physical Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Case Managers
- Nursing Attendants
- Recreational Therapists
