- We are a 28 NeuroSurgical beds comprised of two levels of care.
- Acute care beds
- Intensive care unit beds.
- Our primary patient population consists of adults pre and post-operative, including but not limited to:
- Acoustic Neuroma Resection
- Cervical Spine surgery
- Cerebrovascular surgery
- Computer Assisted Stereotatic Craniotomies for Brain Tumors
- Craniotomies for Clipping of Brain aneurysms
- Embolization of Brain Aneurysms and AVMs
- Epilepsy Mapping
- Lumbar Spine Surgery
- Microvascular decompression.
- Movement Disorder
- Thoracic Spine Surgery
- Ventricular/Peritoneal Shunt Insertion
- Our critically ill patients may require one or more of the following:
- Intracranial Pressure Monitoring
- Arterial Pressure Monitoring
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Frequent Neurological assessments
- Pulmonary Artery Monitoring
- Video Electroencephalogram
- BIS monitoring
- Care is focused on the postoperative recovery phase and discharge to the appropriate setting to continue optimal care
- Evidence based practice care.
