Gynecologic Oncology

Overview

The student participates in all activities of the division of gynecologic oncology, including weekly tumor and departmental conferences at Bellevue and Tisch Hospitals. The student attends the weekly oncology clinic at Bellevue and is expected to participate at all gynecologic oncology surgery at the two hospitals, as well as to follow these cases with daily rounds. References and readings are assigned for independent study, which is encouraged. An informal short presentation is required at the end of the clerkship.
