Martin Posner, MD, Chief of the Hand Division in the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, was honored by the Greater New York Hospital Association at its annual reception and awards ceremony on June 8, 2008. Dr. Posner was honored both as an exemplary alumni of the New York region’s graduate medical education programs and for his contributions as an educator in the field of hand surgery. At the ceremony he was recognized “for exemplifying the contributions of all physicians who have trained in New York.”
