Dr. Joseph D. Zuckerman, Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, is pleased to announce that Joseph Bosco, MD and Kenneth Egol, MD have been appointed to two newly created positions.

Dr. Bosco is Vice-Chair for Clinical Affairs and as such will be the chief clinical officer responsible for overseeing clinical activities throughout the Department. He will help standardize clinical practices throughout NYU HJD sites, review block-time utilization, and oversee the Quality Assurance process, as well as any other clinical issues that may arise.

Dr. Egol is Vice-Chair for Education. He will be responsible for all educational activities including medical students, residency, fellowships, CME courses, and the visiting clinician programs. In his new role he will be evaluating our programs with the goal of making changes that are needed to maintain us at the forefront of orthopaedic education.
