The Department of Pathology consists of a large faculty of basic scientists and practicing pathologists in the School of Medicine, Tisch Hospital, Bellevue Medical Center, and the VA Medical Center. The Department headquarters are on the fifth floor of the Medical Science Building where the Chairman and the administrative staff are situated and where most of the basic science faculty maintain offices and research laboratories. Additional faculty maintain laboratories in Tisch Hospital and in the Skirball Institute . Additional administrative offices are maintained on the third and fourth floors of Tisch Hospital to oversee the Clinical and Surgical Pathology and at Bellevue and the VA Hospital.
