Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care

A team approach is used to provide comprehensive state-of-the-art cardiac critical care for all of our pediatric patients, ranging from premature babies to young adults with congenital heart disease.

Areas of clinical interest and ongoing research include cardiovascular pharmacology, cardiopulmonary interactions, heart rate variability and its manipulation in the acute postoperative period, nitric oxide and pulmonary hypertension.
