Special Programs
Psychiatry Services
This 22 bed inpatient unit serves an adult population with a Young Adult
Program component. The academic service combines comprehensive diagnostic
assessment and treatment including psychopharmacology, neuropsychology,
psychotherapies, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). A multidisciplinary
team approach provides a continuum of behavioral and therapeutic modalities.
The service is closely coordinated with outpatient NYU Behavioral Health
Program and other providers to offer a range of integrative services.
The Young Adult Program utilizes the resources of the NYU Child Study
Center.
