The plain-film imaging service of the Department of Radiology is staffed by board certified radiologists with an overall knowledge of all imaging services and expertise in the interpretation of plain films and related examinations. We are a backup service supporting the other radiological services.
We provide our services with state-of-the-art and computed radiology systems that are integrated into a PACS system. This allows studies to be immediately available for interpretation on a voice-activated dictation system. As a consequence, results are instantaneously reported to the clinical services.
