Dr. Alex Moroz is appointed the new Director of the Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation Program at the Rusk Institute at 34th Street.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Alex Moroz as the new Director of the Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation Program at the Rusk Institute @ 34th Street, effective immediately. Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation is one of the five Inpatient Specialty Programs at Rusk @ 34th Street, which also includes Stroke Rehabilitation, Medically Complex Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, and Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Dr. Moroz will be responsible for the medical management and supervision of the Inpatient Musculo-Skeletal Rehabilitation Program (4th Floor) of the Rusk Institute @ 34th Street. In addition, Dr. Moroz will provide oversight for musculo-skeletal consultations at Tisch Hospital in order to determine the most appropriate rehabilitation setting for these patients (i.e. rehabilitation at Rusk @ 34th Street, Rusk @ 17th Street, Sub-acute rehabilitation). Dr. Moroz's review of these Tisch consultations for rehabilitation medicine services will be conducted in collaboration with Tisch Hospital's physicians and surgeons.
