Rusk Institute Implements Renovation of Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit
The Rusk Institute announced that it has begun a renovation of its Pediatric Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit, effective February, 2006. The project will refurbish and enhance the patient rooms, hallways, nurses’ station, and provide new flooring and lighting to create a more modern appearance for the children and families receiving inpatient services in the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at the Rusk Institute. It should be noted that the 30-bed Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Program is the only one of its kind in New York City. The expected completion date of this project is August, 2006.
