A semimonthly support group is held for family caregivers of cancer patients in collaboration with an oncology nurse practitioner. Participants have an opportunity to meet professional staff with special knowledge of the care for persons suffering from cancer, share their thoughts and feelings with other caregivers, and learn about resources in the community.
