The Skin and Cancer Unit provides treatment for virtually all skin diseases. We maintain services for both adult and pediatric patients with the more common skin diseases including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and warts. Consultation sessions are held for complex dermatologic problems including bullous diseases, connective tissue diseases, immunologic disorders, keratinization disorders, sexually-transmitted diseases, pigmented lesions, leg ulcers, skin allergies, and skin cancers. Our specialized therapeutic and diagnostic services include skin allergy testing, phototherapy, photo-sensitivity testing and dermatologic surgery. Facial chemical peels, sclerotherapy, Botox injections, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, hair transplants and collagen injections are some of the cosmetic procedures available. The Skin and Cancer Unit is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Phototherapy treatment is also available 2-3 evenings a week. The Skin and Cancer Unit treats patients of all ages and financial classes.
