The NYU Hospitals Center, which includes the Tisch Hospital and the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, occupies the superblock between 30th and 34th Streets along First Avenue, on Manhattan?s East Side. The main entrance is one block north of 30th Street, on the east side of First Avenue. The NYU Hospitals Center is easily accessible by car or public transportation. The closest airport to the Hospitals Center is LaGuardia, which is a 25-45 minute taxi ride away, depending on traffic. By taxi, John F. Kennedy Airport is 35-55 minutes away, and Newark Airport is 45-65 minutes away.

By Subway
Take the #6 train to the 28th Street station. Walk four blocks east and three blocks north to the NYU Hospitals Center entrance
By Public Bus
From uptown, take the M15 (Second Avenue bus), which stops between 34th and 33rd Streets. Walk one block east.
From downtown, take the M15 (First Avenue bus), which stops between 34th and 35th Streets.
From the west side of Manhattan, take the M34 crosstown bus, which stops on First Avenue, between 34th and 35th Streets.
By Car or Taxi
The NYU Hospitals Center is located just off the 34th Street exit of the FDR Drive. It is also easily accessible from the Queens Midtown Tunnel and crosstown from the Lincoln Tunnel.
If you come into Manhattan via Grand Central Terminal. You can take the ?6? train to 33rd Street and Park Ave and continue east towards First Avenue. Similarly, if you arrive in Manhattan through Penn Station, you can take one of two buses cross town to First Avenue.
