NYUMC is contracted with many managed care plans. You can call 212 263-5252 to see if we are contracted with your plan. However an existing contract does not guarantee coverage. Please take the time to call your insurance plan to ascertain if your plan covers dermatologic services in a hospital outpatient setting.

Payment is expected at the time of service. You are expected to pay for your visit in full if you do not have an insurance plan that we are contracted with. If you do have a plan we are contracted with, co-pays are collected prior to being seen. We do not offer a sliding fee schedule however our charges are often more affordable than charges in private practice settings.
Cosmetic services are not covered by your insurance therefore you are required to pay for those services and procedures in full at the time of service as well. Please call 212 263-6882 for a list of services and their associated charges.
