Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards (NRSA) Fellowships
This summary only provides basic information on currently offered postdoctoral fellowships awards through the National Institutes of Health F32 Award. F32 Mentored Research Scientist Development Award
Provides support for a supervised postdoctoral fellowship experience leading to research independence. This award is targeted to researchers with little or no postgraduate experience who need mentored sup-specialty training in biomedical, behavioral, or clinical research to succeed in an outlined plan to achieve pre-defined research training goals. The annual salary is determined by the sponsoring institution. Candidates are expected to devote 100% of their working hours to research related to this award. The award period is up to three years. Please note that there is a three year aggregate maximum for all NRSA support.
