Fellowship Overview
The NYU Medical Center/SUNY Downstate Health Sciences Center is a two-year ASTS approved fellowship training program in liver and kidney transplantation.

Training Experience
Fellows in the program receive both clinical and surgical training.

Research
Research focuses on clinical research and the preparation of at least two papers per year for presentation and/or publication.

Faculty Oversight
Our faculty members are dedicated to teaching and making the Transplant fellowship a rewarding and educational experience.

How to Apply
Candidates should be board eligible or board certified in general surgery.
