Society for Vascular Surgery Registry

Several decades ago, NYU’s vascular surgeons developed the first database in the country to collect outcome data on carotid artery stenting and carotid endarterectomy. Currently updated monthly, NYU’s database provided the model for the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) Registry, a downloadable database of all carotid procedures.

Vascular surgeons and researchers throughout the country use the SVS Registry to assess correlations among practitioners, procedures, comorbidities, and outcomes.
